Charity Fundraising - Thank you for your support

During the past few weeks pupils and staff at Lea Forest Primary Academy have been involved in raising money for a range of national, local and international appeals and causes.

For the Philippines victims the pupils spent an afternoon purchasing items such as books and toys and have raised an impressive £120.47 for the Oxfam appeal. Our Anti-Bullying Week appeal raised money by purchasing blue anti-bullying bands and have raised a wonderful £155.00. This money has gone towards the Academy Council Fund and will help to improve the grounds and academy. We've also raised over £150.00 for the Royal Legion Poppy Appeal by selling poppies in the academy.

We've raised £485.00 for Movember and £327.00 for Children in Need and Mrs Hudson's delicious staff cake sale have raised £50.00 In the spring term we raised £715 for Sports Relief and £345 for Autism Awareness.

Our amazing Yr4's have planned, organised and run a summer fete in there classrooms today and raised an amazing £216.81p for charity! The children made cakes, created games and ran bring and buy stalls, throughout the day. Miss Warwick and Miss Jones would like to pass on their thanks to all of our children for helping to raise the money.
