Lea Forest is a Health for Life School

posted 7 Feb 2017, 03:02 by J Croxon

Congratulations to Lea Forest Primary Academy for achieving the Health For Life Award. On Monday the 23rd January four of our pupils along with Mrs Hudson and Mrs Terry went to the Council Houses in Birmingham to receive an award plaque from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham. The award celebrates the hard work of both pupils and teachers over the last 16 months. We have built  new bike parks, 17 raised allotment beds, grown our own fruit and vegetables, cooked in class with our new equipment and provided more opportunities for the children to exercise in school. The project celebrates the need to learn about how to be healthy and stay healthy for life. Well done everyone!
